Business Analyst JD – Senior Manager
Job description: - (Senior Manager)

Required skills:

• 15+ years of relevant business analysis experience preferably with a financial services/consulting firm in Capital Market, WAM, Risk - Market and financial, Regulatory Reporting, Retail banking, Portfolio management, etc
• Solid exposure to structured and scaled software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Agile or Iterative development)
• Exposure of Data-driven projects and understanding of financial data.
• Train and guide junior Business Analysts in the team
• Experience in leading multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment
• Must have an eye for detail and analyse/relate to the business problem in hand
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with all business and systems stakeholders
• Strong customer awareness with the ability to manage customer expectations
• A good oversight role in driving projects from initiation to closure.
• Support short-term and long-term tactical & strategic business activities through analysis
• Develop, recommend, and implement business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes

As a Product Owner:

• Strong, hands-on Product Owner / Delivery lead experience
• Take ownership of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and user stories.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of product requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance, collecting user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Use the grooming sessions to break functional requirements into corresponding tech architecture
• Epic refinements – architecture changes, etc
• Managed working in distributed teams through daily timezone overlaps
• Jira / confluence-based ticket tracking
• Certifications like, CSPO, SAFe, Advanced CSPO
• Travel onsite primarily for the PIs as per requirement
• General project management experience, including resource allocations, budgeting, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think laterally to arrive at a solution

The candidate will engage directly with business stakeholders to;

• Identify business-driven needs
• Provide insights into leading practices, foster innovation, industry standards and trends
• Review the current state analysis on business processes and target state creation
• Review existing and lead the creation of requirement documentation, use cases, epics and user stories
• Identify gaps and recommend action plans and prioritization
• Produce concise yet effective business requirements
• Evaluate process maps and wireframes
• Data Sourcing, data mapping and data lineage for a data system
• Manage delivery and quality assurance
• Provide training and documentation
• Monitor and respond to feature and support requests
• UAT Support and postproduction support
