I worked at Bayer as an intern

    Pros

The employees at San Francisco's Bayer Healthcare are some of the most amazing people you'll ever meet. This extends to not only outstanding and brilliant scientists, but also the staff, including HR, who support the company in every way shape or form. As an intern, I could really feel the sense of community and driven tenacity to work hard and have fun.

    Cons

There is a strong apparent disconnect between intern management with the Berkeley, CA site.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Bayer (San Francisco, CA (US)) in April 2019.

    Interview

First interview was a 30 minute phone call. Asked basic questions such as going over your resume. 1-2 weeks later, set up a phone call with the staff scientist. This has a technical and behavioral component. Then the third interview is oftentimes an on-site.

    Interview Questions

    • Tell me about yourself and your past experiences?
Go over your resume... If had papers published be ready to explain how you contributed to the paper and how you performed experiments.   Answer Question
