I have been working at Centene full-time (More than 5 years)
Centene cares about it's members. They put a lot of emphasis on Employee Engagement. They provide a lot of training classes for personal growth and development. There is also a good system in place for annual reviews and bonuses. There are a lot of great employees here who have a lot of knowledge and passion that you can learn from. Great benefits!
Although there is emphasis on obtaining Employee Engagement, I don't think the follow through is that great. The work is demanding and you have to be willing to put in the extra hours, but if you don't find this rewarding or don't like an intense work environment this is NOT the place for you. There is also a lot of office politics and at times drama that I really could do without.
Advice to Management
I think that there should be a way for employees to rate and provide feedback their managers to be included in the managers review. The company as a whole needs to be better about promoting within their dept instead of being so willing to bring someone in from the outside.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Centene (Town and Country, MO (US)) in April 2018.
The interviewer was very good job at making it a comfortable, stress-free experience. He also did a great job at explaining the role(s) he was looking to fill. He was also very forthcoming with any current challenges within his dept.
