    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Cloudera (New York, NY (US)) in March 2018.

    Interview

*Worst HR Ever* Not expected from a company Cloudera who are growing and really need talented people to join. Recruiter scheduled for 20 mins phone conversation. Again reached out a day before to reschedule because of her unavailability. Recruiter called late and had no idea about technical aspect of the job and said you can hold onto technical questions from your side till the next round which she said would be just a simple conversation.

    Interview Questions

    • 1. Spoke really fast and didn't describe the role properly then moved on to ask me couple of generic questions about customer engagement, I answered well drawing examples from my work experience.

      2. Worst recruiting screening ever that I have faced in my career. Cloudera should really focus on the process and let the suitable candidate talk with hiring manager so the hiring manager would really understand more about the candidate.

      3. The recruiter is based in Austin, TX office and had no idea about NYC office but still screening for roles here.   Answer Question
