I have been working at General Mills full-time (More than 3 years)
Great people. Great training ground. Good compensation. Good work life balance.
Minnesota nice. Sometimes too slow to react to changing market dynamics.
Advice to Management
Keep up the great work.

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Toronto, ON (Canada)) in May 2010.
The interview process is fairly straight forward. You are first recruited off campus, and then are invited into the office for 2 two day interview process. There you will meet with several directors, who will want to go over your background, your passion for marketing, and how you would respond to specific situations (ie inventory of an ingredient runs low, how do you react).
You will also be taken out for lunch by current employees who will be looking to understand how you are on a social level. it is important to be yourself during this process, as fit is very important to General Mills.
