I have been working at Hilton full-time (More than 10 years)
The hotel has a great family environment, teamwork attitude, and appreciation of efforts made by everyone at any level
Currently not all have returned to work
Advice to Management
Communication is great but is always work in progress to maintain it
I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at Hilton (Washington, DC (US)) in May 2019.
I was Head-Hunted for a Sales Manager position at a DC Hilton Managed Hotel that has been open for less than a year. I asked what came of the incumbent and was told that they had taken a chance on a new prospect and she was not up to the level they were looking for in that hotel. The job offered less than I was already making and would require travel into DC from Northern VA. When I asked what might be the compelling reason to make such a career move, the Recruiter told me that it was a "Conrad" hotel. So you already made a bad hire and now wanted to offer me a job that paid $8,000.00 less than what I am currently making. Oh and the on Property DOSM had a call scheduled to talk to me and was 20 minutes late in making the call. I did not return the call.
