I have been working at Octopus full-time (More than a year)
I have been at Octopus for 18 months and can honestly say that I look forward to going into work every Monday morning. It's not like anywhere else I've ever worked and when I talk to friends they tell me how lucky I am to work somewhere with the culture we have
I appreciate that not everyone has had my experience, and I think that there are many issues that need resolving within middle-management.
Advice to Management
Recognise that there are people who are not reaching their potential because their manager has been over-promoted.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Octopus (Holborn, England (UK)) in January 2019.
Process leading up to the interview was good. Offices were nice and the people who I met with were friendly. Was pleasantly surprised so when offered the second stage I said I would come back.
To be considered I had to complete a task to present back. I did this, and spent a great deal of personal time on it alongside other responsibilities.
I went back and presented this and was told that I would be given an answer by a specific date.
This day came and went and I heard nothing. I chased the HR representative who interviewed me but again nothing. I went back to the person who first approached me, and I did receive a reply. She told me it was a no, but someone would contact me with feedback. I didn’t hear back after this.
I totally understand if I wasn’t a right fit for the role, but not replying to people who have given up hours of their time, having been asked to do tasks that take a great deal of their time is unacceptable in my opinion, which is why I have posted this review.
My advice: beware before agreeing to any tasks!
