Interview
this entire process was disorganized chaos.
from starting off by speaking to someone in another state who informed me the role was hybrid and paid between 50-60k (which matched what was listed online) to moving forward and having an hour long interview (where i was told "our benefits aren't the best" should have been red flag number 1!) with people in richmond office confirming the salary range but not being open to a hybrid schedule. after the teams interview i was invited to come in and meet other employees in the office, another hour of my time. i was then asked to "make my own offer" and was told that they were very open to negotiations and looking for a team player (but still said id be unable to help the team if i worked remote..LOL). after the discrepancy with the in office/hybrid schedule i wanted to confirm the salary range still being between 50-60k. i submitted a fair offer based on my experience and market value for the role requirements on the department of labor website and never heard back!
you clearly are NOT open to negotiation and you are NOT flexible.
one more red flag worth mentioning-during the office interview it was brought up one employee hadn't taken a vacation in almost 10 years -- WHY is that something to be celebrated or be proud of?!
this job has been listed since december so i'm writing this review to hopefully save other people some time. (this job has been most recently reposted stating that they are looking for 10+ yrs experience and are only willing to be 30-45k. RUNInterviewwhat are you looking for in your next role
