I have been working at SKIM full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very collaborative work environment, colleagues are always willing to help out. Smart, down to earth people with an international mindset who are really working on things they are interested in. You can feel the growth mindset of the people and the fact that SKIM is expending world wide is very interesting.

    Cons

Sometimes working for a larger and more well known company makes things easier.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SKIM (Rotterdam (Netherlands)) in October 2020.

    Interview

The HR was very friendly, introduced himself asked a lot of question about myself, told about the company in details. At first, questions were broad, then more detailed. Important to prepare and know your motivation if you apply for a certain industry.

    Interview Questions

    • Since I am a recent graduate, I was asked about the process of writing my thesis, I had to tell in details about how I performed my research and which methods I have used. I was also asked which direction of the research I would prefer: quantitative or qualitative.   1 Answer
