I have been working at Volkswagen Group of America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent on-boarding experience. I consider myself to be extremely lucky to have landed an opportunity working for VW. The car discount, the people, the training, the Dress for your Day dress code and the commitment to employee development. I could not be more pleased with my decision to join the VW team.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Volkswagen Group of America (Detroit, MI (US)) in October 2012.

    Interview

I was completely comfortable and it did not feel like an interrogation. I was asked about what I know, what I can do and why I want to work here.
I thought the drug test was a bit excessive. I haven't had a drug test for a job for about 15 years until I applied here. It wasn't a bother, but just goes against my personal belief of drug testing.
