    Advice to Management

You each care deeply about your teams, your people, if we were to be strict and accountable to care about one another at the middle and upper management level as much as we care about our teams/people - by having real conversations with those that don't and formally/informally acknowledging those who do WK will continue grow, not just grow but thrive. Love this company, its people and all it stands for and offers the Doctors, Nurses, and academic or research Medical professionals of the world.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer (Baltimore, MD (US)) in April 2011.

    Interview

Two phone interviews with HR recruiters began in late March - early April 2011. They lasted about 15 minutes each and were usual interview questions relating to past work experience and what drew me to applying for the current position in question. After the HR screening, I had another phone interview with my potential supervisor which lasted an hour and was very thorough. Detailed questions relating to the new position were explained and I was given the opportunity to explain how my experience was relevant to the company's objectives. After passing the phone interview, I was scheduled for two separate face-to-face interviews with both my potential supervisor and her boss. I was offered the position about a week later and accepted.

    Negotiation

I was able to negotiate the salary I was looking for due to my years of experience and ability to describe how my previous work was relevant to adding value to the company.
