As Pride month comes to a close, we're reflecting on the events we hosted, programs we learned from and stories we've shared internally. Pride is about coming together to honor, celebrate, and support our LGBTQ+ community. We kicked off celebrations with a keynote by Cheddar Gorgeous and over the month our team also learned from speakers and organizations on how to create a welcoming and accessible workplace. Our Pride celebrations are a part of our commitment to focusing on equality and education year round. Our internal DEI&B program – Strong, Unique Voices – aims to amplify the voices of our employees and provide educational resources around key cultural moments throughout the year. As we’ve grown, so has our culture. While we’ve celebrated #PrideMonth, we know there will always be more to do. We’re committed to humanizing cybersecurity, and to do that we need all of the strong, unique voices that make 1Password what it is.

Help 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 My career is in crisis. I graduated in 2019 and then went on training for one Service based company, problem is after training I never got any exposure to any proper one tech stack and was made to do random tasks and random tech stack. Somehow I switched to TCS in 2022 Jan but worse was awaiting for me. I got placed in a support project and since last year I am working in support. Now whenever a recruiter asks me about the tech stack or skills,I have no answer.😭😭😭 Contd.

Diversity Programs & Initiatives

At 1Password, we believe in the power of strong, unique voices coming together, celebrating our diversity and the different perspectives that come with it. In fact, we’ve woven this belief into Strong, Unique Voices, our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) program. From our first Employee Resource Group (ERG), The Black Caucus, to the many more emerging and diverse groups to come, we can't wait to platform and listen to more strong, unique voices. As we keep striving toward an accessible and impactful workplace, we are committed to fostering, enriching, and sustaining a culture of diversity and inclusion.

I applied online. I interviewed at 1Password (Canada)

    Interview

recruiter screen, called 15mins late. spoke for like 5mins and got moved to next round. next round was hiring managers, can easily tell that they were very inexperienced and had no idea what they were doing. Rejected afterward, since the hiring manager saw experience individuals as a threat to their position. If you look on LinkedIn, more than half of 1Password's SDR / BDR members come from roles that aren't related to tech at all (retail jobs/servers / etc) and get hired instead of experienced SDR / BDR that have GTM experience. Seems like the type of organization who do these interviews to get ideas, such as cold calling scripts/strategies instead of actually hiring.
