I worked at Adelphic (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Once a differentiated, unique product. Market leading mobile features. Built on top of a device graph, though not necessarily known for that. Some nice people across Waltham and NY offices.

    Cons

Impotent management team-- lack of decision making or building a company culture. Finance group pinching pennies in all the wrong areas and causing for a weaker culture. CEO not a sales / marketing individual when company and staff needed that most. Very poor sale to Viant, with almost full attrition or layoffs. Multiple weak people allowed to stay on despite poor performance.

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Adelphic.

    Interview

It was a very positive experience. I tend to look for 3 things: was leadership involved but not overly so, were people candid with tough questions, and do people seem to love their jobs. All 3 were a strong yes.

I clicked immediately with engineering leadership as well as general execs. I like to ask hard questions like "what are you frustrated with right now?". It's hard to BS those questions. From each interviewer I got real day to day struggles, and it was refreshing. Most boiled down to challenges in hiring at scale and driving growth rather than politics.
