I have been working at Bankers Life full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very supportive culture with best-in-class training. This is a great place to grow a career. If you're good at what you do, you can quickly build a client base. You can also become an Advisor and learn to manage investment portfolio decisions.

    Cons

Sales isn't for everyone. You will get leads, training, and support, but you still have to put yourself out there, develop business, and close appointments.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bankers Life in July 2020.

    Interview

I received an unsolicited call from an HR recruiter for this position that I hadn't applied for. I felt it was very scripted and urgent that they scheduled me for an interview. I was told by someone in insurance to pass because it's a 1099 position and now a big name company.
