    Neighbourhood Coach Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Lichfield, England (UK)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

I applied online. I interviewed at Bromford (Lichfield, England (UK)) in February 2020.

Online up load CV and answered 3 questions
20 minute telephone interview with HR
Psychometric test - link sent via email
    30 minute interview
3 tests on pc, letter, email and advice (bedroom tax, death/end tenancy and local councillor)
Meet and talk with a customer

I was told at the end of the interview I would hear back after the weekend on the Monday. (I was interviewed on Wednesday) I had taken a days annual leave to attend. However, on the Monday late afternoon I missed the phone call from the manager that had interviewed me - I rang her back shortly after but got voicemail so I left a message. She didn’t get back to me at all.

So emailed the HR Specialist to ascertain the decision a week after the interview. She replied saying that she would get the manager to contact me the following day. However the next day at 4.30pm the same HR specially called me back to inform me that I hadn’t been successful and gave me some feedback. Mainly that I was too accommodating for the role .... which was discussed at interview. Fair enough. Just saying that I have the respect and decency to tell interview candidates if they have been unsuccessful in a timely manner and not leave them in limbo. Rude.

I must clarify that the HR specialist was very professional and respectful.

However I am pleased I didn’t get this position if that is how the management treat interview candidates.
