Later this year, Anaheim-based nonprofit Access California Services will be moving to a new, more spacious location. But first, renovations need to be made to better meet the organization’s needs. As part of Capital Group’s #CapitalCares initiative, the organizers of Irvine Community Action Day were eager to lend a hand. On August 16, 25 volunteers converged on the new property, volunteering their time to clean, build, repair and paint. The group is pictured here in front of a mural they created as part of the project.

As part of #NationalDisabilityEmploymentAwarenessMonth, the Capital Abilities Network is holding a neurodiversity awareness panel discussion on October 20. During the event, neurodivergent associates will share personal stories. We believe neurological differences should be recognized and respected, and we strive to both bring in neurodiverse associates and enable a sense of belonging through awareness and visible support.
