    Corporate Interview

    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview
    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Cardiovascular Systems Inc (CSI) (Saint Paul, MN) in Apr 2017

    Interview

The process took about 2-3 weeks. I had an initial phone screening conversation with the recruiter and then received a call about scheduling a phone interview with the hiring manager. I interviewed with the hiring manager over the phone. Then, I received a call about moving forward in the hiring process a couple days later. The next step was to interview on-site with a couple new interviewers. I provided my availability over the phone and received a follow-up e-mail with interview information the following day. I interviewed with both interviewers back-to-back, and the last interviewer gave me a brief informal tour as they walked me out. I received another follow-up, this time interviewing in-person with the hiring manager. All of the interviewers were respectful and professional -- I had nothing but a positive experience with everyone. I left thinking that even if I don't get the position, it was still a good experience, which is a huge testament to the quality of their hiring process. Communication was prompt, people were open to answering questions, and the hiring process was as transparent as possible.
    Interview

Initially, you will be asked general questions regarding your skills and experiences. I was also asked what kind of supervisor I want to work for. In the final interview with the hiring manager, I was asked more in-depth knowledge and skills based questions that were specific to the role. They want to make sure that you'll fit in with the company culture and a good fit for the position that you applied for.
