Click Commerce helped companies change the channel. The company developed software used to automate functions related to sales channel management, collaborative commerce, and compliance automation. Its applications were used by medical centers and research institutions, for example, to manage clinical trials, automate administration processes such as grant preparation, and oversee compliance issues. Click Commerce also targeted clients in the aerospace and defense, financial services, logistics, manufacturing, and retail industries, among others. Customers included FedEx, Lockheed Martin, Jabil Circuit, Nissan, and Wal-Mart. Click Commerce was sold by Marlin Equity Partners to Huron Consulting Group in late 2010.
