The CHT product org is actively working to listen to employees, to accept that feedback submitted as oneself or anonymously, and to adapt and respond as result. There is recognition that we can be better, learn together, and grow. I'd much prefer that to an organization that thinks it's perfect. In my experience, colleagues have been professional, supportive, and willing to work across organizations and functions to solve problems.

Being part of VMware is amazing - it's a great company with strong ethics, excellent pay, and great benefits. Across VMware and CHT, people are viewed as assets not costs. My previous company said they'd do what was right for the business, not for the people. At CHT they recognize that what's best for the people is what is best for the business.

We are overly optimistic. We consistently have a larger appetite for features than we have headcount. We should try to do fewer things, and be more realistic with ourselves about how long that work will take.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen, learn, and focus on the people and the culture.

I applied online. I interviewed at CloudHealth in May 2016.

I applied online and the recruiter contacted me for a phone screening. When the time came for the phone screening, the person was 20 minutes late and asked me if we could reschedule. I gave the person the benefit of the doubt, and rescheduled for a time later in the week. I waited for the call at the new rescheduled time, but I never received one. I emailed the person, but never received a reply back. All in all, it was a disappointing and unprofessional experience.
