Our founder, Alfred Escher, envisioned not just a bank, but the future of an entire nation. This foresight made it possible to expand the Swiss railroad, build tunnels through mountains and in the process, pave the way for a new era of prosperity.

This is a philosophy that endures at Credit Suisse as we look to solve the challenges of our day. Join us and you'll not only help shape the future of a global bank; you will have the opportunity to see how big ideas and meticulous execution can achieve great things.

    Assistant Vice-President Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Pune
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Credit Suisse (Pune) in January 2009.

    Interview

One gets an interview call through the local job consultants, who then fixes the date n time of your interview. There are about 2 rounds, first by the HR screening team, then the team manager (AVP/VP) followed by the Director. As long as the candidate is clear about the profile, he/she need not worry about interview. Its a sureshot win.

    Interview Questions

    • Why changing your existing company? What do you know about the product? How did you manage a difficult situation? Most challenging situation? Certifications? Usually the minimal qualiication required is an accountant or an MBA (fin) with 5 years of experience. Moreover the company also relies on campus hiring a lot these days   Answer Question

    Negotiation

Credit Suisse is a pay master and they do not negotiate much, infact they are happy to give more, make the employee happy. Relocation costs are fantastic, I believe no other company provides as much.
