I applied online. I interviewed at Disney | Star (India)

    Interview

Mannerless people...My first call was from HR and then they asked to brief about my past experience and they arranged a video call interview with the territory heads..got selected to the final round. The final interview with VP also went well but later things were horrible...after one week i enquired about the status of my interview. HR asked me to wait for one more week and then they will let me know the status...then they didnt revert, they didnt pick my call or reply to my mail..I was waiting for them ignoring other interviews...terrible experience...if they haven't selected then why do they ask to wait for such a long time? Absolute waste of time

I feel I belong somewhere now. I live at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities of gender and sexuality. And have experienced a lot of hatred for being who I am — Why are we so intolerant? At 21, I moved to the UK and I met people from around the world with different stories. I realized if I chose to embrace who I am and fight for it, there were going to be a lot of hurdles — extremely difficult ones with very slim chance of a happy ending. Did I go for it? Yes! I kept questioning myself. Be it my sexuality or gender orientation. It's about time parents understood how difficult it is for a child to be perceived as different, the pressure of the internal and external fights they have to fight alone. And, time, young adults realized, the only way to live is to try living your truth — you might surprise yourself — you have so much power in you!"
