Advice to Management
Thankyou For Accepting Me At Epic Games I'll Try My Best To Work Hard!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic Games in January 2018.
I applied to the position online in mid December 2017. I received an email 2 weeks later saying that they wanted to set up a phone screen with me. I did the phone screen the following week. Before the phone screen ended, the recruiter said they wanted to set up a Google Hangouts meeting with 2 leads.
I did the Google Hangouts meeting the same week as the phone screen.
The next day they emailed me saying they wanted to set up a 3rd Google Hangouts meeting with 2 additional team members. I did the 3rd meeting the following week.
Everything seemed to go really well and the communication with the recruiter was great. Throughout the process up that point only a few days would go by before I heard anything back.
I didn't hear anything for a week after the 3rd meeting so I sent a follow up email. 2 days later I received a generic automated rejection email. I responded looking for feedback, and I didn't hear back at all. I'm not sure what went wrong but be aware something like this could happen.
Epic Games is thrilled to welcome Cloudgine Ltd. in joining the company as a wholly owned subsidiary!
