I have been working at FLIK Hospitality Group full-time (Less than a year)
The Interview process is amazing with this company for the MIT Program. The interview style is speed dating which gives you a nice opprotunity to talk with multiple higher ups from the company. Once you pass that part, you move on to an all-expenses paid dinner which the CEO attends. I thought this was truly remarkable for a company to do, and it shows how much they invest in their people.
The only con I would say is the communication once you are offered a job. If you graduaute in May this shouldn't be an issue, but since I graduated and started work early I've been confused as to what's going on until the program starts in June. I was also never told anything regarding vacation time and sick days.
Advice to Management
The only advice I would give to management in regards to this program, since it is fairly new for them, is to pay attendtion to what works and what doesn't. This way, the future MIT classes will run a lot smoother. In regards to the vacation time and sick days, I would make this readily available for employees so they are aware of what they have so that they could use it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FLIK Hospitality Group (Chicago, IL (US)) in January 2018.
Had 4-5 virtual, phone, and in-person interviews. They were very thorough, but accommodating. Simple background check, and no drug test. It's asking for at least 30 words so I'm just padding the word count at this point.
