Pros
Pay, Insurance (except dental), Employee appreciation dinners, Clean environment.
Cons
Rampant cell phone usage on production floor, insanity inducing plant meetings, Constant alarming of IDC equipment, Poor, rushed training of new associates by day shifts, Free for all night shifts with little or no rule enforcements (ie: cell phones, operators MIA), Open door policy is a joke, Overtime abuse (milking of time clock) IDC boots and bellows, 12 hours shifts!
Advice to Management
Crack down on cell phone usage! On the night shifts it's anything goes as operators are either in hiding or blatantly on their phones not minding their machines. I've looked down 60's & 90's to find ops hiding between machines on their phones or in other departments socializing. This leads to equipment downtime and a strain on maintenance and or Set-up depts. Training needs to be more thorough as many new ops are rushed through by non patient senior operators. The new operators need to be retrained again once they transition to nights. 12 hours shifts are preposterous!

Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (Tillsonburg, ON (Canada)) in March 2016.
Interview
After an online application, I got an email with a bunch of questions to answer. After few days, I got a phone call from the US office, and set an interview time. I visited the site (Tillsonburg, ON), and had an interview with two people (HR and plant operation). After the interview, I sent a follow-up letter twice: the day after the interview and two weeks after. However, I did not get any response from them.
