    Vice President Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate in Bengaluru
    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GlaxoSmithKline (Bengaluru).

    Interview

The interview was for a position in Bangalore was more of an open discussion. The panel was very cordial, open, and friendly. They were very encouraging as well.

However, GSK India HR processes are not mature enough in GSK. Hopefully, this feedback will be considered in the future.

    Interview Questions

    • Discussed various common challenges and how we are solving them. Few scenarios from past experience had to be shared   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

Key reasons for declining the offer :

    a. The position interviewed and the position offered was different! It was not informed to me until the end of the interview process !! It was an unethical / non-transparent approach of not communicating to the candidate until the end (offer)

    b. When offer was made - only compensation & benefits details were provided in a mail without a formal offer letter (outlining the details) and was given a hard deadline to accept! It was evident that the recruiter was in a hurry to fill the position !!

    c. Compensation and benefits offered were not on par / competitive for the position offered.
Eg. Medical coverage was very low, Parents Insurance is not covered.
