I worked at HAVER & BOECKER full-time (More than a year)
125 years of history and company remains in family hand. The fifth generation just took over the management. Management and colleagues are highly professional and very friendly. Very long term thinking and practice.
To me the company seemed to technology oriented. They probably have some of the world's best engineers of the industry, but at almost all hierarch levels lack of commercial understanding.
Advice to Management
As per my understanding they are on the right way. Try to get more commercial perspective in the business and take overdue painful decisions on one of the two major future markets.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at HAVER & BOECKER (Conyers, GA (US)) in September 2013.
Basic questions, but they had me translate a service report from Spanish to English. My spanish is great, but the report had many technical words I was not familiar with and struggled to translate. I was told to do my best. I did got the job in the end and was later told that they had me translate to test my ability in at least reading and comprehending Spanish.
