MAD JAM: MAD Jam is the integral piece of the innovation engine at HCL that recognizes and celebrates outstanding, employee-led innovations for customers. To date, MAD Jam has helped over 2700 outstanding innovators share their best ideas for innovation and transformation.

IPM: This unique platform has the sole aim to create a unified Patent Policy under the Ideapreneurship umbrella to reward and recognize employees for their work which they believe to be patentable and thereby participate in achieving patent status

For more than 4 decades, HCL has been on the forefront of employing and empowering women. This year in 2019, HCL is delighted to partner with International Women’s Day for the first time. The role which IWD plays is a critical one, helping to amplify the still considerable gaps which exist today for organizations such as ours to help create and sustain a more balanced and diverse world.

Over 24% of our workforce today comprises of women. And we have consistently and consciously furthered this cause through various in-organization initiatives as well as creating a larger social environment that facilitates gender-equal workspaces. Towards this, presence of women role models plays a key role.

HCL has been very active in spotlighting the critical role that women play in the technology industry through its own Red Ladder Initiative that Celebrates, Advocates, and Fosters Women Leadership. The program identifies and recognizes top-performing and high potential Women Leaders, and leverages them as role models for other aspiring women — and men — in STEM fields. The initiative, is a winner of Stevie’s Award for Women in Business 2017, in the category of “Women Helping Women”.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HCL Technologies (Bengaluru) in December 2016.

    Interview

    I came for interview today at mentioned venue but later I was told that my resume is not fit for the profile.

    I waited for 1.5 hr and then i was told that I am working on Oracle ERP so my candidature will not be considered, I told the person that Oracle ERP backend primarily works on PL/SQL still i was asked to leave.

    Just wanted to know that HCL doesnt do resume screening when we send it at the first hand ?
    Does it just sends the call letter on the basis of information provided ?

    I came to HCL postponing my other scheduled meetings.

    It was a very disappointing experience with HCL today.
