    Java Developer Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hays (Noida) in August 2019.

    Interview

I would suggest to go for an interview here only when you urgently need a job. Never go for a walk in here.
Although it's a recruitment company, they themselves didn't have a proper management. They had a walk in for Java Developer, DevOps Developer and Testing Engineer all at one day one time. People waiting since 9 Am didn't have even one round of interview but people who came at 11.30 am and after had one or two round of interviews. As I said no management.
I was one of the lucky one to had two rounds of interview even though I came late . Your whole day is going to be wasted that is for sure.
For testing profile they had only 1 panel of interviewer and applications of about 100 people. Around 40% left before giving any round as it was already 4 pm.
After my second round, I waited for 2.5 hours and they could not confirm if I was selected for the HR round or not. So I asked two of the management people but they would just disappear for half an hour. So I left the premises without knowing my status.

On my way returning back I got a call from them for HR round to which I refused .

So I would suggest please prioritize your time and check reviews before going for a walk in especially.

  • What makes a high-performing team so successful? Being motivated by the same goal. That seems obvious, doesn’t it? But, in reality, ensuring each team member has their eyes on the same prize is deceptively difficult to achieve in the world of work: https://social.hays.com/2020/03/02/we-thinking-key-to-effective-teamwork/

Why "we" thinking is the key to effective teamwork

If I was to ask you to name an example of a successful team, which one would immediately spring to mind? Perhaps a high-performing sports team such as Manchester City Football Club or the New Zealand All Blacks? For many of us, high-performing teams like these are the encapsulation of good team work.

  • In his latest LinkedIn Influencer blog, our CEO, Alistair Cox reminds us that it takes a human to be a leader of human beings: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/takes-human-leader-beings-alistair-cox/

It takes a human to be a leader of human beings

We're all human. We have different hopes and dreams, and different fears and flaws.
