Pros

Through the storm of 2020 and beyond I had a coach who really cared about me and my family's well-being. Who empathized with the struggle, and never made me feel like the amount of death and mental

Cons

Not a lot of diversity in leadership. Seems every time we have a BIPOC leader (beyond middle management) they leave, and their exit was always "planned from the beginning".

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Help Scout (Australia) in Sept 2022

    Interview

Positive interview with the head of brand. She was very kind and asked some decent questions, specific to the role. I felt a good rapport with the hiring manager who acknowledged I had enough experience for the role.

I was disappointed to be deemed over-qualified for the position, and would have figured the company of its size would have seen value to find a place for an employee with lots to offer.

The recruiting manager was also good, however the process was lengthy and drawn out, and I had to chase a response. This was during the heated hiring period of 2022.
    Interview

Best question was something like: “What’s one thing you would change about our brand”
