The Laundry & Home Care business unit is the cornerstone of Henkel’s success story: The company’s first product was a laundry detergent based on sodium silicate, named “Universal-Waschmittel” (universal detergent).

I applied online. I interviewed at Henkel in May 2016.
Marketing associate and Marketing Manager for the brand called me up. The interview started with an introduction of myself and talking through my experience followed by standard questions around why marketing, why Henkel, why this business unit, etc. This was followed by a general discussion about favourite brands, shopping habits, trends in marketing, what the future could be etc. Also about how diverse and inclusive the culture is. After this a series of test questions that relate to marketing. Overall an enjoyable conversation. I was told a week or two later that they decided not to proceed but they really enjoyed the conversation. I have asked whether they could point out anything that I can improve for the future, to which they have not responded.
