    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Imperial College London (London, England (UK)) in June 2018.

    Interview

Positive and straight forward process. As with other universities there is a lot of red tape so things can feel slower than they do in the private sector. The HR team re-arranged the interview for me as I was on holiday for the first date they offered which was kind of them. I haven't heard back from my interview yet but it was only two days ago. The panel interview was a good experience as all of the staff were friendly and warm. The culture came across very well.

There are a lot of skills based questions in the interview so be prepared for those and have your examples ready!

    Interview Questions

    • What attracted you to this role?   1 Answer
    • Name a time when you have disagreed with a senior manager and how did you overcome this situation?   1 Answer
    • What is your experience of working with financial data?   1 Answer
