It also offers location management systems, which utilize software and radio frequency identification (RFID) tags to track assets, employees, and inventory. Serving commercial and government customers, the company specializes in deployments for health care providers. CEO Ed Cantwell founded InnerWireless in 1998. In 2012 the company was acquired by communications system integrator Black Box, becoming that company's introduction into the in-building wireless market.
