Timings between onshore and offshore to be made a little more adjustable
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Lincoln Financial Group.
Two remote gotomeeting interviews with people in a couple of locations (the BI department is scattered throughout a few different offices) over the course of a couple weeks. Received automated rejection from HR within 24 hours of application (presumably generated by software), but was later contacted by the department director. After the second interview I waited about three weeks before attempting to contact the person who initially contacted me since the wait between the first two was about two weeks. I heard nothing back and figured if they didn't care about me, I didn't really care about working for them.
I did receive an automated rejection email two months later that they had gone with another candidate. Understandable considering the position was posted for multiple locations around the country. No hard feelings, but somewhat unprofessional to not bother responding to a direct communication.
