    I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Linedata (New Delhi) in November 2019.


    Initially communicated by senior manager, HR and was called for F2F interview at the office.

    I withdrew my candidature after the first round of interview as I didn't find the team, specifically the interviewers, encouraging and professional at all for the following reasons:

    1. Both the interviewers were not warm at all. Even I have taken 100s of interviews in my current & the past organizations,  I do understand how to appreciate a candidate's attempt and his/her humor during the process. This is not a one way evaluation, that you're hiring a slave. It's a two way, where a candidate also have expectations from the company & the management. Throughout the interview there wasn't even a smile at both the interviewers faces. One of the interview was just staring and almost lying on his chair. No candidate is going to appreciate this kind of body language & behavior. I would have answered then & there when the interviewer smirked at one of my answer saying "is this what you do?" What do you mean by that? Isn't it rude to do that even if the answer is wrong? 

    2. Like I mentioned above, an interview process is a two way deal where a company and a candidate mutually reach to an agreement. The Q&A should happen from both the sides. I appreciate that you gave me an opportunity to ask if I have any questions. But when I asked the question to understand the role and responsibilities, turning the question back to the candidate doesn't make any sense. If I had the answer then why would I raise a question in the first place? 

    3. I was informed that an HR will come and meet me after the interview. However, I waited for about an hour and nobody turned out. I appreciate that you took time to arrange and schedule this interview and you should appreciate a candidate's time too. Is it right for a company to ask the candidate to leave the premises after waiting so long at the reception?
