    Positive Outlook

I worked at Marvist Consulting full-time (More than a year)

There are a few things that are good about Marvist:
    - Small company - you get both professionalism and personal connection. Not lost in a big sea as with the big offshoring companies
    - For analysts this is great company - Founder was a new product development manager in a Fortune 500 company. So always looking to research and improve things
    - Disciplined and systematic company. If you do your job well, then they will not interfere.
    - If you are struggling with quality or speed, then your work is examined in detail and suggestions are given to improve.
    - Company know what makes someone productive in a job - they will guide you and help you pick up the skill
    - Job roles are better than the typical outsourcing roles in MNC companies - which are mostly low end or procedural jobs that US employees don't want to do

I left because, there was opportunities abroad that I wanted to pursue. Maybe will join back, when I permanently move back to India.

    - Expect you to have an employee mindset, take responsibility and do good work

    Digital Marketing Analyst Interview

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Marvist Consulting (Hyderabad) in June 2018.

There will be both written rounds and a small interview in the 1st round. Only those who clear first round will be called for 2nd round. There is a registration form or inputs for HR interview form that will be given first. Here year of pass out, percentage and admission on merit is checked. You will be asked about your preferences. Merit admission to professional college is given importance.

You will be asked preference of job role - individual performer, team management, administrator. Based on this choice you are asked related questions. Your opinions and preferences matter and you are not pushed into a role you do not prefer. Except, when you have an innate talent for a role that you may not realize

The second round will have longer personal interviews and some tests maybe there. The selection process is holistic and only 10-15% of time will be in actual interviews. Unless it is very senior positions when on each job role 15 minute discussion may be held

I was very honest and told my opinions honestly but politely. Was told later by HR that fake or wrong information is considered character issue and will fail you in your interview. Company prefers those who have overcome struggles successfully.

For an analyst role, you will be challenged intellectually in the interview. You are expected to see both sides of the coin. Your response and objectivity on a tricky subject will be tested. If you get emotional and lose your objectivity forget about getting hired in an analyst role. You are unfit for an analytical role.

Founder is very intelligent, analytical and wise. If you are a genuine analyst, you will appreciate the interview. No 2 people will get the same question. Some common questions maybe asked during initial few minutes to make you comfortable. Based on your CV, test and your answers in the tests - the questions are framed on the spot.
