Mission: Our vision is to become the worldwide leader in branded, location-based, family entertainment.
I have been working at Merlin Entertainments part-time (Less than a year)
.Get to work with a real variety of people all chosen for their personality and love theme parks.
.Good management (Cade and Jamie in Ents)
.Merlin Pass-You become real popular
.Some really fun roles available on occasion-Ministry of Sound nights as an example
.Pay-Can earn more in a supermarket
.Outside of Ents management very poor and often too young to be good decision makers.
.A lot of repetition
.Some in HR have favourites and reflected in shifts given out- great when you get them but breeds issues in a team!
Advice to Management
Pay people more and invest more in the park-Merlin talk about competing with Disney but are so far off the mark in that respect
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Merlin Entertainments (New York, NY (US)) in September 2017.
I was met with 2 white people in an all white room, they pretty much made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. The offices were bland and gray, and they were asking me the same questions over and over as if they didn't believe I was telling the truth. It seems as though only robots work in the corporate office of this company.
