I worked at Metalogix Software full-time (More than 5 years)
Great Legacy of client support, growth and quality based innovation. With a return to full-time Businss and Quality focus on doing the right things for clients , associates, and shareholders - you can get it back ! The market is still there and memory of the core Metalogix value can be reconstituted- don't lose faith - it's hard to kill a quality software company and the client base will stick with you if you return to delivering quality solutions that work.
Very dissapointing reviews in the past couple years. They seem to highlight the recent loss of a focused business strategy , quality slippage and lack of business purpose and leadership. It sounds like too many ameatur / rookie executive distractions . Very dissapointed in current executive and board leadership under the Permira Funds tenure. This too can be fixed.
Advice to Management
You can get the old MoJo back--it's there. It begins by embracing the " all business " culture that led to 6 years of growth , profitability, and quality innovation. Stop fooling around on nice to have ideas and focus on listening to clients core needs. Delight them by simplifying the management, protection and governance of their sharepoint content. Listen and serve your clients well and return to the days of total quality, build growth out on Essentials/Metavis Platform and then lead your team by the golden rule: "lead by example in all your endeavors, even when no one is looking" . Please start by cutting out the "burning man behavior" and replace exectutives, board members that are condoning this decline and focus- if on nothing else - making the stuff work.
Your minority shareholders, employees and clients deserve better!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Metalogix Software.
Pretty easy, plenty of questions asked but nothing too strenuous.
More relationship centric than anything else.
You meet plenty of people to be sure that you will integrate into the team.
Some of these may be more junior, or much more senior.
Capped off sometimes with a call with the CEO.
