Company reached out to me after submitting my application.
The first step (without an interview) was a design challenge. This should have been a major red flag immediately but I took it anyway.
The design challenge was extremely time consuming to design a product from the ground up with no research.
After submitting my challenge they declined a further step, which is fair in itself but then provided no feedback. When I followed up and asked for additional feedback they gave me a single sentence for review.
For an UI/UX agency which prides itself on "empathy" they show shockingly little to their candidates with zero respect for their time or energy.
If the hiring process is an indication for how management treats employees I'm extremely happy I didn't get the job.
This experience turned me off the company as a whole and if anyone brings up or talks about Morphosis I will always remember how they treated me in the hiring process.
Designers, have respect for yourself and don't do design challenges without an interview and don't agree to massive challenges when the hiring manager can simply look at your portfolio / resume which you already spent time on.InterviewDesign a product from the ground up
