I have been working at Provident Financial full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fuel allowance paid at 45p a mile

    Cons

Everything, one minute they are saying your the manager of the area use your initiative the next your chastised for using your initiative. Poor micro management. Forced to work unnecessary Saturday shifts and late nights. BM rings you even when you’ve finished and expects you to answer. Emails that require replies whenever they feel like it. Request you to go 40 mile off patch for a 9am meeting and refuse to pay you mileage

    Advice to Management

Sort it out or make the cuts you need to so you can take care of the actual hard working staff you have

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Provident Financial in April 2015.

    Interview

Not a smooth one, the approach was intimidating. Focused more on the the issues that were not necessarily achieved and on experiences that seemed not to matter for the vacancy. The overall feeling was that they were seeking a strong individual, and specifically with a financial background.
