Red Hat – Why Work For Us?

More than just a job
Red Hat is where the most passionate, creative, and high-performing people in the tech industry come together to make a difference. We build and support the only fully open source technology stack, and we're passionate about showing the world the power of the open source way.

At Red Hat, our work feels important because it is. Transparency and collaboration are changing the world, and we've proven that you can build a company on those principles. Every day is full of opportunities for you to contribute your ideas, help solve complex problems, and have a meaningful, tangible impact.

Our diverse, inclusive meritocracy
As an open source leader, our business depends on diverse groups of people coming together to share ideas, collaborate, and spur innovation.

At Red Hat, diversity fuels our meritocratic culture by bringing in more participants and ideas and challenging our assumptions. We are committed to growing diversity and inclusion both at Red Hat and in the communities in which we work and live.

Diversity and inclusion within Red Hat
Internally, we are building an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are valued through programs like our Diversity + Inclusion Communities (what other companies call employee resource groups), learning opportunities on topics like inclusive teamwork, and more.

Sharing the power of open source
Red Hat supports many programs that are designed to get traditionally underrepresented groups involved in open source, like Outreachy, CO.LAB, Open Source Day at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, and much more. We also created the Women in Open Source Awards to shine a light on the valuable contributions women are making to the open source movement.

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Red Hat in July 2017.

First round was online technical test which consists of objective questions on the technology you have chosen say, java.then there was technical interview with two panelists, then managerial interview and hr. Keep your concepts clear ,no superficial knowledge is entertained.
