    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Silicon Valley Staffing (Emeryville, CA (US)) in September 2014.

    Interview

Aside from filling out the application, I was interviewed one on one: Later I was introduced to the manager. The staff is friendly and eager to help match you with a client. What impressed me was they didn't place me with a company with consideration to both client and potential employee.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked what were my interests, short and long term goals? Large or small companies? Did I have a preference to work in San Francisco or the the East Bay? The question are routine but makes sense in placement.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I didn't negotiate the pay for the temp position. There was some negotiating for the temp to perm position. Client was flexible.
