Mission: Since 1963, Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) has made a lifetime of achievement ...
Students are great and inspiring. Salary is competitive for non profit work.
SEO has no concept of work life balance. NONE. Staff is put into overdrive all year, even when it is not necessarily their busy season. The hours are insane. I actually wonder if supervisors are scared to let their employers work less than 55 hours a week. This is the norm here, so you get no recognition even when you are working super hard. They seem to do a lot to make the 40 hour work week an intangible dream. There is also a completely unnecessarily obsession with meetings. I spend more time in meetings than getting actual work done. Say goodbye to weekends and a social life.
Advice to Management
