I worked at TSYS Merchant Solutions full-time (More than a year)
TSYS is a widely used and integrated to platform for processing and a Processor that is also an Acquirer.
While I was there TSYS was coming off several years of being perhaps one of the largest Processors / Acquirers supporting both National and Regional Associations - but the sales from those relationships was waning and no real plan to give them a boost or fix issues. My second year TSYS acquired TransFirst and that began the process of TSYS morphing into a watered down version of First Data since so much of the TransFirst leadership team came from FD; recreating the FD strategies at TSYS appeared to be a failed experiment and the ISV / Saas / Maas integrations were expensive and drawn out to complete.
Advice to Management
Focus on technology improvements that align directly with customer obsession and the UI / UX in all directions and keep focusing and refining that - you cannot Lease ( to your customer ) your way out of a black hole !
I applied online. I interviewed at TSYS Merchant Solutions (Omaha, NE (US)).
Called in for interview after applying online. Pretty basic questions, but I just didn't have enough sales experience. Managers seem to generally care for their employees. Had a game room to help employees with stress relief
