    CRM Manager Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Tchibo (Hamburg (Germany)) in December 2019.

    Interview

Tchibo are the kind of corporate that have no respect for applicants' time or energy. I have been through the recruitment process twice with them. The second time was a ridiculous experience and a complete waste of my time. My interview was scheduled and then postponed a month and a half. I thought strange and had a feeling that they would have probably hired someone by then. But I went anyway.
My interview was with 2 HR people, (one who was under training - I was informed by phone an hour prior to my interview that they'll join) & my potential manager. My interview started about 20 mins. late and ended 10 mins. early. I was not asked a single question related to my projects, me as a manager, or my years of experience in the field. Rather discussing hobbies & intro small talk topics, nothing special... fair enough for a first interview. However, I received a call with my rejection about 15 minutes after I left the building due to a specific skill set (that they hadn't asked about). Of course my feeling was confirmed and they were in fact interviewing me for a position that has already been filled. No transparency as to the reason for rejection but rather one which was made up.

All I can say is this company has no respect for people's time and no decency to be transparent.
Positives: very nice people with good coffee :)
