    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WakeMed Health and Hospitals (Raleigh, NC (US)) in May 2020.

    Interview

It was to the point and the managers I interviewed with were very nice. It lasted about 15 minutes. I was able to shadow a nurse tech afterward. It has been over 2 weeks though and I have not heard anything back. I contacted HR and I am still in the interview phase but just waiting. I feel like at this point they should have let me know something though.

  • Respect. Appreciation. Understanding. “Having an organization that is rooted in diversity and inclusion is incredibly important to helping meet our mission – we exist to improve the health and well-being of our community, and that is the whole community. What I think is powerful about WakeMed Health and Hospitals is the fact that it not only is here to deliver care for folks, but it welcomes those with gifts and talent regardless of where they’re from, their religious background, their sexual orientation, their race – it really is a place where all can come who have a heart to deliver care to improve the lives of others. And that’s something that I’m incredibly proud of. As you go around this organization, you’ll see a lot of people who don’t look the same, who don’t act the same, who may not think the same, but all say “I Am WakeMed”, and that, to many, means the same thing.” – Donald Gintzig, CEO.
