    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (United States)

    Interview

I applied for a senior communications role and was reached out to by a recruiter a month later who seemed in a hurry to set up an interview that same week. We arranged to speak for 45 minutes and had what seemed like a very positive conversation. At the end, the recruiter outlined what the next steps would be and requested I follow up with her the following week if I hadn't heard from them.

The week passed and I didn't hear anything, so I followed up and was told they were still waiting to hear from the hiring manager. Another week passed and nothing, so I followed up again and was met with radio silence. The same thing happened with an additional follow-up email until finally – almost a month after our interview – I received an automated rejection email.
