Mission: "To create stronger and more resilient communities"
I have been working at Wiltshire Council part-time (More than 3 years)
Flexible working at home or local hubs.
Ability to negotiate part-time hours to suit personal circumstances.
Allowed to get on with jobs without being micro-managed
Less specialists, more generalists
Lack of incentives
Lack of pay rises
No team feeling
Lack of training and support after restructuring
Advice to Management
Develop a team spirit.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wiltshire Council (Chippenham, South West England, England (UK)) in May 2015.
This was a presentation based interview to a panel of senior managers. The presentation was to be delivered without the use of PowerPoint and was to last for 15 minutes. Following the presentation I was questioned about what I had delivered.
The rest of the interview was question and answers from each of the panel.
The interview last approximately 90 minutes.
Members of Team #EPIC, our volunteer staff engagement group, collaborated with FM and Wiltshire College on Monday to kick start a new initiative to brighten up the flowerbeds. They will be returning next week to focus on other beds making them beautiful and wildlife friendly, and when the September term starts will work on the large bed outside the main entrance.
Amazing! They're looking great! :) #LoveWhereYouWork #WeAreWilts
