The CEO sent the letter to the President of Yankee Candle who interviewed me for the position. Then a person from HR called me to interview me for the position. Although the title National Sales Manager the position was managing a small staff trying to sell to independent stores.
My perception by asking where they worked before coming to Yankee Candle is that they want people that come from major brands that sell to retail stores.
