The latest conversations about Tech India
Hello there, I observed one thing. Non Hindi speaking people find it very hard to work in Indian IT. There is this inherent culture to speak in Hindi all the time as many North Indians are in IT today. I work in a product based company in Bangalore and these folks often talk in Hindi in official meetings despite saying. Feels disrespectful. This is happening in Bangalore. Official mode of communication should be English but they are discriminatory.. Has anyone else been facing this?
Guys just want to know how do you assess yourself that you are good for IT field. I have graduate in 2017 in ECE. I'm completing 6 year in this IT field in backend devlopment. I have changed company last year Aug 2022. But for last couple of months, but I am asking myself weather should i quit or and before this I have imposter syndrome related issue with me. Whenever I tried to quit and join stable job let's say psu(mini ratna) I recently got offer with 1/3 ctc of my current company.
I'm graduated in 2020 and was interested to work in IT industry, even when in college I used to work in app development, web development and like problem solving. After being in IT for last 3 years I hate working and still not finding the job what I love, first org was good but next two I didn't like the work. Nowadays I just hate the work. Does anyone feel same? Lost the charm and interest once u have?

What are your colleagues talking about?
Smart, nice people. Thoughtful perks. Have tried to adapt to new ways of working. Made as few cuts as possible during the downturn.
Always-on culture. I like that they focus on career development and efficient working, but it can be exhausting always striving to be your best. I don't need a sense of purpose to come from my work.
