I have been working at iPlace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

iPlace has a great work environment and it has one of the best offices in the WTC. People over here are friendly and very helpful. HR, Shared Services, and Marketing department work together and keep the workplace lively. There is always something new to learn through the iLearn initiative program which is taken care by the Professional Development and Training. I have gained a lot of knowledge over here in past one year. The work culture is awesome and its the best place to grow your recruiting career.

    Technical Recruiter Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at iPlace (Pune) in December 2017.

    Interview

I got a from HR for Technical recruiter position and after the first telephonic discussion my in-person interview was scheduled for the next day. In-person interview; I had three rounds of interview within an hour; the first two rounds of interview were like just for 5 minutes each and the third round (Technical round) last for 30 minutes. The technical round was very healthy discussion about recent technologies, my sourcing and recruiting skills and I was really happy with that conversation with the Operations head of Iplace. After the technical round they said they will inform me soon. The very next day I received a call from the same HR mentioning that I am selected and to roll out the offer they need my last 3 months salary slips, which was shared by me next day, that too without any salary discussion (As they mentioned it will be discussed once I send my salary slip), only thing that HR manager discussion about the salary is my current C2C. After a week when I called the HR to follow up she mentioned that they are doing background check and soon they will release my offer. After 3 weeks of my interview again I called the HR to follow up, but it was same update that my candidature is still in the process and they will update me in next two days, well after the in-person interview the only call I received from Ipace was about my salary slip and it was me who called every time for update. It being 2 months now and still my candidature is in process. The only good thing that happened to me till now is that Manali answers my call every time but other people they don’t (Either they are in a meeting or they will call me back in next 10 minutes, which happened just once). I was very happy that I will going to be a part of such a big organization in US staffing, but I don’t know what kind of background check Ipace is doing that takes more than 2 months to get result. I was about to refer 2-3 friends of mine who are into US staffing industry and some recent graduated for Associate Recruiter/Sourcer position, but not anymore.
